An important message from the Superpoints team

Dear Superpoints members,

At the end of January, 2011 the current team began to manage operations of Superpoints.com on behalf of its owner, Superpoints, LLC, in the hopes that we could build a great rewards community.  We did our best, but unfortunately Superpoints, LLC has decided to cancel our management relationship and take back management of the site.

Unfortunately we are forced to suspend access to Superpoints.com and members will no longer have access to the site as of 3:00 pm central time on November 7th, 2012. We’re saddened to have to take this action, but extenuating circumstances have forced our hand. We’ll do our best to complete fulfillments on a timely basis for those rewards claimed prior to the site’s suspension.

FAQ:

Will my pending redemption still be paid out?
Yes, we will do our best to fulfill all redemptions submitted to Superpoints.com prior to 3:00 pm CST on November 7, 2012.

Why are you making such drastic changes?
There are several changes happening in the management of the Superpoints website and the economic conditions around supporting a rewards site. Those changes have prompted the suspension of the Superpoints.com website.

What about my support email that you haven’t replied to?
At this time we do not have the resources available to respond to all the support emails. We will begin answering new support emails regarding redemptions but all prior emails will not be addressed.  If you have any outstanding requests regarding redemptions, please contact us again and we will look into it. Requests outside of redemptions may or may not be responded to.

Is the site going down permanently?
The current team will no longer be the managing operator of the Superpoints.com domain and therefore we don’t have information as to whether or not Superpoints.com will resume service at a future date.

AGREEMENT: In order to enter the Contest, you must agree to the Rules. Please read all of the following Rules prior to entering to make sure you understand and agree

ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible for the Contest, an Entrant must (a) be a resident of the US, UK, or Canada; (b) be a member of the Superpoints website; (3) follow our Terms of Service and agree to our strict policy of one account per household; (4) complete all offers with 100% accurate information; (5) understand that each winner can only win once.

CONTEST PERIOD: The Contest begins on Monday June 18, 2012 and ends on Sunday June 24, 2012. All dates are subject to change.

HOW TO PLAY: To enter the Contest, visit the Superpoints website, go to the Get Points>Complete Offers page. On this page click the Matomy tab to get to the Matomy Offer Wall. The top three Superpoints Members to complete the most MATOMY Offers, Surveys, and Tasks will win the Contest.  These winners will be calculated based on the total amount of Matomy Offers completed, NOT the total amount of points earned from completed Matomy Offers. Videos watched on the Matomy Offer Wall do not qualify for the Contest.

Superpoints Changes

An important message from the Superpoints Team regarding some changes effective immediately:

Due to the evolving nature of our program, we are making some changes which will impact the Superpoints community.  We love our members so in order to make the Superpoints website more sustainable, we have had to make some changes that align with our competitors to the Referral Program and Rewards Catalog. These will go into effect on Thursday, May 17th, 2012.

Previously, the amount of points Gold and Platinum Members could win from their direct, level one referrals win’s on the Super Lucky Button was not capped. After this change, all Gold and Platinum members can win a maximum of 1,000 points PER referral.

We understand that this is a big change to our referral program. However, we want to ensure that the Superpoints website is not only sustainable, but can also accommodate more members in the near future. Additionally, as a team, we did not want to take away the ability for you to win what your referrals win on the Super Lucky Button, so this is an opportunity to continue taking advantage of inviting new members to the site and having them join your network.

 

Regarding the Rewards Catalog, we have updated how many points each reward will cost. The amount of points each reward costs will now be variable and fluctuating. Some weeks there may be a sale on certain rewards, so we encourage you to check back weekly for specials on rewards.

Many of our members have requested new rewards to be added, so we will be starting to continuously add new rewards to the Rewards Catalog based on feedback from Superpoints members. Let us know what you want to see!

Although we’ve had to make these rather not so fortunate changes, we are also adding New Features to the Superpoints website for all our members to enjoy.

  • The first new feature is that we have launched a brand new Offer Wall: SuperRewards! The SuperRewards Offer Wall will provide you with more chances to earn points by completing offers, additional Videos, as well as deals on magazine subscriptions.
  • We heard so much great feedback about the coupons that are sometimes found on the site, that Superpoints is now offering a Coupon Page, where you can find a large selection of coupons to use at your local grocery store, favorite retailer, and more!  As of now, this is for our US members only but we are working hard to find our CA and UK members great discounts and specials as well.
  • We have also added a Daily Deals Page! Superpoints members will be able to find steals and deals on items they already plan on purchasing. Local deals for restaurants, shopping, salons, hotels, etc will be easily available to all our members. These can make for awesome gifts… believe us!

Additionally, the Superpoints Team wants you to know that we hear you and we are already working on more features you’ve requested to earn more points. Stay tuned… we will be giving sneak peeks to our members as soon as we can!

FAQ:

Will I continue to win points from my referrals that have already won me over 1,000 points?

- Yes, the 1,000 point cap will begin on Thursday May 17th.

Will we still be able to win Bonus Invites from the Super Lucky Button?

- Yes, absolutely! You will still be able to receive Bonus Invites and receive the points when someone signs up under you and becomes a Basic Member.

Will the points I win from my referrals completing Emailed Surveys count toward the 1,000 points?

-Yes, the 1,000 point cap includes all points you win through your referrals

Will it be harder to redeem for a reward?

- No. Although the point values will be changing for each reward, there will be times when we have deals and sales on rewards, so be sure to check each week for specials!

Blog Round Up – Coupon Girls Louisiana!

Though we have not had a Blog Round Up post in a while, we decided to hop back on the bandwagon this week to feature Coupon Girls Louisiana, a blog from our member, Lisa Green. Lisa is dedicated to couponing, finding great deals, and discovering smart ways to save a few bucks here and there.

Lisa refers to couponing as an art and is able to share her tips and secrets via her blog. She has created a vocabulary list for beginners and also offers coupon parties, classes, and shopping trips! Additionally, she is dedicated to helping those who are less fortunate by teaching them how to coupon and by donating food. She even has a link on her blog letting people know how they can help the military overseas.

Blog Round Up – Week 4 – On a Mission

After a week hiatus from our last Blog Round Up entry, we’re back!

SuperPoints has partnered with a group of bloggers who are on a mission to raise money for Tornado Relief Efforts in the Southern region of the United States after the devastation that swept through recently. These bloggers have all joined together to create Mission Giveaway, where SuperPoints members, both old and new, spin the button to increase winnings and donation money. Then, members can fill out the Rafflecopter Giveaway form for their chance to win 3,000 SUPERPOINTS for both themselves AND a friend, so that’s 6,000 points, all for helping raise money for a cause and filling out a simple entry form.

Bianca, the owner of the blog, Slick Housewives, is one of the many bloggers participating in this event.

Through the use of her blog, Bianca has been able to attract many new referrals to the site since August 2011 as well as to provide reviews, deals, and coupons to her audience. Her blog posts about SuperPoints clearly shows that she is a determined member who not only wants to use the points to help others, but also to bring joy to her own family during Christmas.

Wacky Tacky SuperPoints Photo Contest

To welcome in a new season, SuperPoints is hosting a brand new contest! We want to see just how creative and witty our members are.

How to participate:
(1) Print the SuperPoints logo or hand draw it on your own.

(2) Take a picture of the SuperPoints logo in the strangest, funniest, most bizarre, and/or most interesting place you can think of.

(3) Post it to the SuperPoints Facebook wall and encourage all of your Facebook friends to “like” the photo because the photo with the most number of “likes” wins 500 SUPERPOINTS!

UPDATE: Additionally, each member who enters the contest will receive 25 FREE POINTS!

Blog Round Up – Week 3 – SuperPoints for a Cause!

There is nothing more gratifying and inspirational than seeing one of our own SuperPoints members use SuperPoints and prizes to help others.

This week’s featured blog is Moms Saving Money, created by Rebecca, who has been a SuperPoints member since July 2011. Through her blog, Rebecca not only offers tips on saving money, finding coupons, and the latest store deals, but she also encourages her blog readers to sign up to SuperPoints so that they can spin the button.

When Rebecca’s referrals win points on the button, Rebecca does too! She then redeems her points for cash to donate to organizations like the Campbell County Animal Control and Hyland Heights Baptist Church Food Pantry, amongst others.

Additionally, Rebecca also tells her blog readers about some of her favorite things about Superpoints like the fact that she doesn’t have to wait two to four weeks to receive her prize and that there are points in Lucky Mail emails every day. Rebecca also hosts her own SuperPoints contests to encourage her referrals to play more and to stay active on the site! The winners receive an envelope of free coupons and have the opportunity to have their invite link featured on the Moms Saving Money blog.

Blog Round Up – Week 2 – Earning Cash in School

The SuperPoints Blog is designed to let members know of announcements, contests, and new features but some of our own loyal members have their own blogs as well. In recognition of some of these members, we have decided to start a weekly Blog Round Up, in which we feature a new blog each week along with particular blog posts highlighting SuperPoints, a SuperPoints contest, or any other SuperPoints related news.

Our first ever Blog Round Up – Featured Blog is Madame Deals!

Amee has been a SuperPoints member since August 2011 and has quickly increased her rank to the second top member on the site by inviting new friends and sharing the benefits of the site, including the Super Lucky Button, Lucky Mail emails, Contests, and, last but not least, the prizes!
